Come One, Come All, to Flyleaf Books in Chapel Hill!
The Triangle is home to many independent bookstores we call friends, including Bull’s Head Bookshop, McIntyre’s Fine Books, Internationalist Books, and The Bookshop in Chapel Hill, plus Quail Ridge Books & Music in Raleigh and The Regulator in Durham. These stores offer a wide variety of genres – from the most obvious to the most eclectic – and we are happy to welcome one more indie to the mix–Flyleaf Books, located next to Foster’s Market off Martin Luther King Blvd (historically Airport Rd) in Chapel Hill.
Flyleaf Books offers mostly new, but also rare and used books at great prices. Flyleaf Books also plays host to events, such as:
- Friday, Dec. 11, 7pm: Art Chansky discusses and signs LIGHT BLUE REIGN: How a City Slicker, a Quiet Kansan, and a Mountain Man built College Basketball
- Saturday, Dec 12, 10am: Prompt Writing Class with Nancy Peacock every 2nd Saturday
- Sunday, Dec. 20, 12pm: The Red Clay Ramblers play and sign their new music CD “Old North State
Flyleaf Books is locally-owned, and was started by three native Chapel Hillians who are proud to offer great customer service, tons of book knowledge, and lots and lots of experience.
