Jonathan Holloway, author of Jim Crow Wisdom: Memory and Identity in Black America since 1940, sat down with Jim Basker from the Gilder Lehrman Institute to speak about Jim Crow Wisdom and how narratives of racial discrimination persist throughout history. The Gilder Lehrman Institute shared this video of Jonathan Holloway’s talk, which was recorded in New York City earlier this January.
