In Memoriam: Philip Gerard

UNC Press is saddened to learn that Philip Gerard, Professor of Creative Writing at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and the author of numerous books that include Down the Wild Cape Fear: A River Journey through the Heart of North Carolina and The Last Battleground: The Civil War Comes to North Carolina, has died.
