Upcoming events: UNC wins NCAA championship, etc.
The Tar Heels are on order by the Commander in Chief to win the NCAA tourney tonight. Go Heels!!
Here’s a preview of tonight’s celebration on Franklin Street. This video was shot on Saturday, when the Tar Heels beat Villanova in the final four. Hopefully any potential thunderstorms and tornadoes will happen sooner rather than later today so we can get our party on after a win tonight!

And, just one more basketball item. This past weekend I attended the Full Frame Documentary Film Festival in Durham, and got to see William Gates talk about the 1994 basketball documentary that followed his and Arthur Agee’s high school and early college careers, Hoop Dreams. If you’ve never seen that film, put it in your Netflix queue. It’s golden.
Go Heels!
